Lara James is qualified in Saxophone Performance and Musicology and her varied work as a musician extends from contemporary classical to pop.

Lara has extensive performance experience including work with major UK orchestras, opera companies and a variety of tours, and has worked extensively as a concerto soloist, recitalist and on recordings for TV and radio.

She is a Professor of Saxophone at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and is in demand as a saxophone and chamber music coach, assessor and adjudicator.
