Lara James Saxophonist

Triquetra Trio Performances

Check 'Performances' for dates and further information about Triquetra's 2010 concerts. London and Bristol dates are booked for March and April with a charity event on August 1st, a Cardiff recital in October and other dates forthcoming.

Triquetra was formed by Lara because she has always been interested in chamber music for saxophone, and the wide variety of colouristic and textural possibilities afforded by combining the saxophone with other instruments in mixed ensemble contexts. This interest was fuelled by the time she spent studying in the USA.

The saxophone, cello and piano trio is a particularly effective combination, and the Triquetra trio is currently performing a vibrant and beautifully colourful programme of works by composers from the UK, USA, Brazil and Australia.

Rachel Ramos, piano          Kathryn Price, cello      Lara James, saxophones

'That was fantastic!"  (Promoter, St. George's Bristol)

by email:

"I just wanted to say how much my brother and I enjoyed your concert at St.Georges, Bristol yesterday. Beautiful music from an unusual but excellent repertoire... Good luck in the future and get your " PR " team to sing your praises."
